This year it was January 20th , or“ Blue Monday”, I think it’s called , noted as the most depressing day, at the most depressing time of the year. Strange then for it to be inauguration day in the USA. As if when you’re feeling down nothing else could possibly go wrong or make life worse. Excellent planning if that’s the case.
But not to worry, we have an answer. A bit like the answer for shopaholics. If you’re feeling down go and buy something, anything will do to get those endorphins spinning around your bloodstream.
Only now it’s not handbags or glad-rags, it will be parts to buy, parts to refurbish, and for many of you it will be parts to sell, so get out into your stores and workshops, find those unfinished repair jobs or left-over parts and get them listed, get them bought, sold and generally advertised but absolutely, definitely, get them out of your way and the eagle eyes of your finance department or accountant.
Time to buy, time to sell, time to get some parts back out in circulation. Now to go with that, back by popular demand, is our monthly and annual supplier rate online. More realistically priced this year to cover our ( vastly increased) costs, you can now upgrade online to a monthly or annual supplier subscription in Partfindermarine.com and keep a very tight control over your costs.
You know what to do. Login and click on the “ Upgrade” link. The rest is easy.
All the best to everyone for 2025 and yah-boo-sucks to Storm Eowyn hitting the UK as we finish off this missive. Billed in Eire as possibly the storm of the century by BBC weather ( their photo below). Let’s hope not folks. Stay safe.
